Good: The Axis 215 offers 12X Optical and 4X Digital Zoom, Day/Night capability, and 360° pan with auto-flip and two-way audio.
Bad: Not available in PoE unlike Panasonic’s WV-NS202A, and the 360° pan is not endless (but it does swing around and catch up where it left off). The 215 does not provide a progressive scan image.
Bottom Line: The Axis 215 is a great looking camera with packed features and enters at a great price point. It fits nicely into Axis’s lineup for an all-Axis solution but falls short of Panasonic’s WV-NS202A for those searching for best of breed.
